I have a date with Tang Yuan (something likes dumplings made of glutinous rice flour served in soup) tomorrow so Happy Winter Solstice in advance to all my friends! Eat more Tang Yuan and always be happy :)

My first zine!

Can't wait to share with you --- my very first zine, Better Together! I spent a lot of time to get new ideas to draw. I try to develop my own style and keep it weird :D

This is the cover of my very fist zine - "Better Together". The title is inspired from Jack Johnson album "In Between Dreams"! Actually I make this for PikaPackage: Zines!, and of course they will available in my ETSY and Pipit Wonderful Market! I found it is really good to draw a zine without any limitation. I enjoy it and always a lot of ideas pop up when I drawing. I will upload more when I get the printing, can't wait to share with you!

New Pill Box

Mr. Sick Pls Go Away From Me...

oh...You can see what happened to me in the picture.

I have been sick for few months with my back. I had an operation to clean a tumor in the beginning of 2010, (Actually I don't know what called in English, in Chinese called "水瘤") but the doctor seemed not so skillful, he didn't totally remove the bad area. So my back infected again! Luckily we found a chinese physician, he has a wide experiences in this kind of case. After few weeks treatment, I have to apply chinese medicine on my back and eat pill everyday, the tumor is getting smaller, and doctor told me that I no need to do an operation! I am so happy and grateful, I don't like operation... You can't feel anything after injected by Narcotic, (is it correct in English?) like a deepest sleeping. You won't know if you can't wake up again, you won't know that if the operation is failed.

Now, I sick again. Sick for 4 days with fever, cough and running nose. They really killed me! I can't focus my mind in drawing, can't enjoy delicious foods, my brain goes blank when others talked with me. And I lost 2 kg in this. I always wish I can be slimmer, (girls always want to be slimmer and not satisfy with their weight forever!) but I know I can't success, cause I enjoy foods so so much. I also don't want to be a unhealthy person, it is no point to pursue a model figure (I also too short haha).

We should be grateful if you have a healthy body, you can see a lot of news around us, people get diet and lost their healthy or some people can't choose to be a healthy people cause they get ill when they were young. It is not nice to eat medicine everyday, I miss my favorite foods...

To people who are waiting for my reply email, I will get back your guys soon! I have to rest for few more days till recover. My brain totally can't manage so many things now :(

Thanks god I still can write a blog to update my news, I hope all friends can stay healthy and Mr. Sick always go away from you!

A Collage Book

I am reading a book about a Japanese artist teach people how to collage their memories in a book. It is quite interesting and memorable! I can't wait to start my collage book now :)

Little Doodles Frame

I did a doodles frame for some project use last week. Unfortunately this project has been cancelled :( But, it might come in handy for some event or art bazaar in the future!

What Tools Do You Use for Drawing?

Last week, a web friend asked me what pens or tools do I use for drawing. She is curious about how I make the picture looks texture and natural. Erm... actually I also no special secret on it. I just picked most suitable tools to draw and develop.

I took some photo on my tools and sharing to my friends ^_^ Everybody should find their own suitable tools and paper to develop their drawing. You will feel good when you get a right one!

I used grey board to make a box for my pens! A layer of cloth covered on it.

I feel excited to see my box is getting to full!

Sometimes I use watercolor paper or acrylic paper to draw. You will find different texture on different papers. That's what I love to try on it!

A Love Gift

I did a handmade frame for my boyfriend ^_^ Happy Birthday to him~ yeah!

It makes me feel sick.

As you seen, I did the illus for St Patrick Day. But they didn't use it :( Just because they thought they were too girly! Oh pls... if you don't want to go with a girly style then you don't find a girly style artist! I doubted their sincere! I did it without any commission and change it few times, and finally they said they don't want do a girly design! They like to talk sweet words to you before starting, in the end, even our name they also can't really remember!

This is the way you show your respect to artists?

It makes me feel sick.
