My works get involved in PikaPackage Project! I'm very glad to join this project, and an exciting secret to share with you --- the founder of Pikaland, she is an illustrator from Kuala Lumpur! I guess a lot of people will be very surprised when they know Amy (the founder) is Malaysian and she did a lot of good jobs in Pikaland. About a month ago the awesome people from KLue contacted Etsy Malaysia Local Team to explore the possibility of organising an art and craft market. One thing lead to another, and thanks to everyone who contributed towards it, the inaugural Crafty Art Market on November 27th at the Bee, Jaya One, will be hosting Etsy Malaysia Local Team–exclusively.

It’s our VERY OWN ETSY MARKET, right on Malaysian shores! If all goes well and the event draws a healthy crowd, this will be a monthly affair.

Knowing that this will be a meeting place for some really talented artists, why not grab a bunch of friends and family members and make a day trip to Jaya One on the 27th? Not only will you be feasting your eyes on a plethora of lovingly handmade goods, but I assure you that your tastebuds will be in for a treat as well–you simply CANNOT leave Jaya One without trying something from The Bee. (They even supply handmade, homemade ice cream!)

Pipit 4th Anniversary + Wonderful Market 5!!!

I have to say Pipit Wonderful Market already become a representative art bazaar in Kuala Lumpur! I am very proud to say I have been involved since the first market, I can see Pipit Wonderful Market is getting stronger and powerful. Can't wait to share some photo with you now! The next Wonderful Market will be held on next year, hope to see more friends involve in this wonderful event!

A little wonderful project hosted by Little Miss Heirlooms!

Details as below:-

What is a swap: You are assigned a partner and you and your partner swap a package. This package is made up of certain items that you know your partner will love. There is a deadline on sending off your package so everyone gets one around the same time. After you receive your package it is always fun to show off all your loot on your blog with pictures. This is a great way to make new blogger friends also!
Theme: Spring! Fun colors and warm weather are my inspiration!
Ideas: You could make something for your swap partner including their favorite colors and themes. Add goodies, yummy smelling items etc!
Amount: Please don't spend anymore than $25 before shipping. This way the swap is affordable for everyone!
Dates: Swap will be open till March 8. I will assign partners according to wants and likes and make a list and send them to you and post them on my blog. You need to have your package out and sent by April 10.

尔～怎么参加呢？且看以下说明及规则，想要赢取免费或以特价RM10（原售RM15）购买兔子的朋友，赶快来看看啦！

说明：

1. 以上图片为例，只有10只兔子可以获取哦！

2. 首先，拿出一支笔，在纸上画出你觉得最能表现个人风格的表情，放进scanner，不需要太大size，只要看得到就好了！拍照也可以，不过要清楚的。

3. 我建议不要画到太复杂，兔子的脸很小个罢了。

5. 收集作品完毕以后，我会放上facebook给大家投选。

KL PAC Open Day

**** are you a klpac virgin? ****

Pen this date in your diary now - 18 January 2009 (10am - 5pm). The very first all-day arts festival is back again!

If you're new to this Open Day thing, it's something klpac started in 2008 and it was an absolute blast! We packed in 5,000 people and brought together some 200 arts practitioners.

Basically, it's one whole day jam packed with FREE performances, visual art installations, theatre and cultural games, arts workshops and demonstrations, staged readings, show previews, film screenings and, of course, the ever popular guided tours.

And if that's not enough to keep you occupied there will be some 60 over stalls on the lawn selling all kinds of interesting goodies and great finds (courtesy of the Bijou Bazaar team)!

MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS

Dont' miss the finals of the FIRST, EVER klpac Idol! Find out who has what it takes - the charm, the personality and, most importantly, the talent to win this prized title.

There'll also be a dance performance in Pentas 1 itself by rising choreographer / dancer Aris Kadir...
